Since late 2004 we offer so-called Express Rabbit Protocol: accelerated development of specific antibodies (basically, 30 days instaed of standard 90 with the same result with respect to titer and affinity of antibodies).
This protocol is Based on IMMACCEL-R, a patented non-toxic central action adjuvant that stimulates response of T-helper cells to dendritic cells processing and presenting an antigen. Result is the early appearance of high affinity IgG2a and, usually, elevated total level of specific IgGs in serum. In short, using IMMACCEL-R one can prepare in 28 days a good specific serum.
There are things that have to be taken into account when using IMMACCEL-R:
- It is desirable that antigen has a relatively decent T-helper antigens
- Antigen has to have at least some corpuscular nature - either insoluble complexes formed by carrier protein (i.e. when KLH and peptide are coupled using glutaraldehyde), as a minimum - Alum has to be used
- IMMACCEL-R can be used with most of commonly used adjuvants: CFA, Alum, Titer-Max, Ribi adjuvant, but does not replace them. IMMACCEL-R as an additional stimulator of immune response that makes it faster and stronger
- IMMACCEL-R does not make non-immunogenic antigen more immunogenic, - it accelerates the response to the antigen making the immunization procedure shorter
