Human or Mouse CD Markers Pure and conjugated antibodies for frozen tissues and flow cytometry |
| Antibodies for Assays for Viruses, Bacteria, Toxins. These antibodies are usually represented by several antibodies of different isotype and/or specificity. |
Secondary antibodies Enzyme, Biotin or fluorescein labelled antibodies to various animal immunoglobulins. Recommended for immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry, as well as other immunoassays |
Lamins Nuclear lamins form a network of filaments at the nucleoplasmic site of the nuclear membrane. Two main subtypes of nuclear lamins can be distinguished, i.e. A-type lamins and B-type lamins. The A-type lamins comprise a set of three proteins arising from the same gene by alternative splicing, i.e. lamin A, lamin C and lamin Adel10, while the B-type lamins include two proteins arising from two distinct genes, i.e. lamin B1 and lamin B2 |

Reticulon RTN1 (NSPs) Reticulons are associated with the endoplasmic reticulum, and are involved in neuroendocrine secretion or in membrane trafficking in neuroendocrine cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. Multiple promoters rather than alternative splicing of internal exons seem to be involved in this diversityfamily was designated the NSP-gene (Neuroendocrine-Specific-Protein gene), because Northern blot analysis indicated that it is specifically expressed in neural and neuroendocrine tissues. Proteins that are selectively expressed in neural and endocrine cells are of interest as discriminating markers in cell typing during biological development as well as in differential diagnosis of tumors in general and of lung carcinomas in particular. |

Nestin Nestin is a Class IV intermediate filament protein abundantly produced in the developing central nervous system (CNS) and in early embryonic neuroepithelial stem cells. This cytoskeletal protein has been widely used as a predominant marker for stem/progenitor cells, glioma cells, and tumor endothelial cells. Also, it is a superior angiogenic marker to evaluate neovascularity of endothelial cells in tumors.

Smoothelein Smoothelin is a constituent of the smooth muscle cell (SMC) cytoskeleton. Antibodies directed to smoothelin are a useful tool to monitor SMC differentiation. The monoclonal smoothelin antibody R4A is useful to discriminate fully differentiated, contractile SMCs from proliferative SMCs. The distribution of smoothelin-positive cells indicates a correlation between smoothelin expression and smooth muscle tissue contractility. Smoothelin is a useful tool in the evaluation of atherosclerotic lesions. |
